Digby threw the car keys for me to catch. "Say you got lost," he said.
"Why don't you say you got lost?"I threw the keys back to him.
"They'd believe it more if you were driving." Digby threw the keys to me again.
This time, I threw the keys at him. Hard.
"Hey," he said.
"That was sexist," I said.
"I'm not sexist. I'm saying they are." He shook off the hand he'd used to catch the keys and said, "Now help me punisch those sexist pigs with some trespassing."

Ups? Okay, also, ich werde nicht lügen, ich habe nicht damit gerechnet, dass ich mich an meine "100 Seiten am Tag lesen" Regel halten werde, wenn ich den zweiten Teil von Digby (beziehungsweise Trouble Makes a Comeback, weil ich auf die englische Version gewechselt habe) lesen werde, da ich den ersten Teil schon so geliebt habe und es kaum abwarten konnte endlich hiermit loszulegen, aber trotzdem hatte ich nicht mit einer Reaktion gerechnet die so extrem ist.
Extreme Reaktion, sagst du? fragst du dich vielleicht jetzt und meine Antwort darauf ist, ja, extreme Reaktion. Ich habe gestern Abend angefangen zu lesen, bin nach 60 Seiten (und einem sehr anstrengenden Tag) aber schon eingeschlafen, bis ich heute morgen um sechs (an einem Sonntag ist sechs Uhr morgens für mich, ziemlich sehr früh) mit dem anscheinend-Schlaf-verdrängend-dringenden Bedürfnis aufgewacht bin, weiter zu lesen. (Um dieser Geschichte ein wenig an Verrückt-/Besessenheit zu nehmen, werde ich anfügen, dass ich mich noch mal ein paar Stunden lang zum Schlafen gezwungen habe - gestern war echt ein harter Tag für mich, ich habe den Schlaf gebraucht, so viel Vernunft habe ich noch - bevor ich dann versehentlich ein paar Stunden lang verlesen habe.)
Das ist alles schön und gut, aber tatsächlich, wie dir vielleicht aufgefallen ist, habe ich noch nichts wirklich über dieses Buch gesagt, ausser, dass ich es anscheinend mag. Also, um eines klar zu stellen, ich mag es tatsächlich, aber auch nicht so sehr, wie den ersten Band, wobei ich mich trotzdem unglaublich auf den dritten Band freue, der sehr vielversprechend zu werden scheint, nachdem wir jetzt hoffentlich nicht mehr Zeit mit Austin (?), Allie (?) und Charlotte (?) vergeuden werden müssen und dafür mehr mit Sloane, Henry, Felix und (natürlich) Digby rumhängen können (die ersten drei waren echt ein wenig nervig, sehr langweilig und leider viel zu prominent, letztere vier sind Schokoladenmuffins-mit-extra-Schokolade-und-wer-könnte-zu-ihnen-schon-nein-sagen-ich-will-einfach-ganz-dringen-mehr-Szenen-mit-ihnen-wieso-hat-man-die-mir-nicht-gegeben-Fragezeichen). Okay, also, vielleicht bin ich gerade nicht sehr rational in meiner Bewertung, das ist mir aber auch herzlich normal. Ich liebe Digby, oder Trouble, oder wie auch immer, immer noch und ich freue mich schon unheimlich auf das nächste Buch. Die Interaktionen zwischen Zoe (immer noch eine der coolsten Literatur-Zoes die ich kenne, würde definitiv auch mich in den Schatten stellen, wäre entweder ich auch eine Literatur-Zoe oder sie real) und Digby sind immer noch unglaublich lustig und die zwischen Sloane und Zoe wurden auch richtig klasse, aber ich habe Henry und Felix trotzdem vermisst, also, wie schon gesagt, ich freue mich auf mehr davon im nächsten Buch.

"That's right. Brother she never had … that's me." Digby said. "Exact same page."
Austin gave me an extra-assertive kiss and left for work.
"Maybe if I hug you later, he won't have any choice but to whip it out and mark you with his pee," Digby said. "Better spend some extra time reassuring him tonight … sis."

Ups? Okay, I can't claim not to have suspected I'd break my "do not read more than 100 pages a day because you're supposed to study" rule when I started reading Trouble Makes a Comeback (I really, really loved the first book) but still, I did not expect to have this extreme of a reaction to it.
Extreme reaction? you might ask and yes, extreme reaction. It started off quite normal: I only read about 60 pages before I fell asleep; my day was super exhausting and I really needed to rest. But then? Well, I woke up at six am (on a Sunday, which is very early for me) with a need to read Trouble Makes a Comeback so great that it apparently messed with my inner clock and set it back by about three hours. I love books and I live for stories but something like this usually does not happen. (In order to make myself sound less crazy/obsessed I should probably also mention that I made myself sleep for another couple of hours because the day before really was super-exhausting for me and I really needed to sleep and I actually do have enough self control/self-reflexive ability to not only admit that but also act on it.)
Well, by now you've probably realised that I haven't actually talked about this book at all only about how I liked it apparently. Just to make things clear: Yes, I rally liked this book - but not as much as I liked the first one. However, I'm super-duper excited for the third instalment. Mostly, because we're probably going to have to waste less time with Austin (?), Allie (?), and Charlotte (? I really should have looked up their names but I'm fine with forgetting about them) and get to spend more time with Sloane, Henry, Felix, and (obviously) Digby. The former three I found quite annoying, pretty boring, and, sadly, way too prominent while I consider the other four to be pretty much the-best-people-ever-and-I-wan't-to-spend-all-my-time-with-them-and-why-didn't-I-get-to-spend-as-much-time-with-them-as-I-would-have-wanted-to-quesitonmark.
Okay, well, obviously I'm not doing the best job giving this book a rational review but also I really don't care at the moment. I love Trouble and I'm so excited for the next book to come out. I love all the scenes with Zoe (who's still one of the coolest literary-Zoe's I know) and Digby and I've grown to love all of the scenes with Sloane and I really missed the scenes with Henry and Felix but, as I've mentioned before, I'm very hopeful to see more of them in the next book.

Was soll ich schon sagen? Das Digby-Zoe-Komplott hat mich total im den kleinen Finger gewickelt. Ich weiss, die Bücher sind nicht perfekt und ich weiss, dass ich gesagt habe, dass ich diesen Teil nicht so sehr mag wie den ersten, aber ich kann ihm trotzdem nicht weniger als 4/5 Sternen geben, vor allem, weil sich der erste Teil so sehr (und so positiv) in meinen Kopf eingebrannt hat.
